I have been especially conscious of the food I feed to
ensure optimum health of my flock, breeding and egg production,
hatchability of eggs, and growth and weaning of chicks. In the wild, birds
eat living, succulent foods and in my aviary I have tried to copy this as
best I can.
The foods I use for my own flock is an abundant mix of fruits and
vegetables and my own special blend of sprouted seeds, grains and legumes,
a nutrient-rich food that I call BSA SproutMix.
